“Here’s What’s Happening” was established in May of 2007 under a grant from the Horizons Program, with the goal of enhancing communication among community members and keeping them informed about upcoming events. It is published quarterly and mailed to 1,100 households in the Kendrick-Juliaetta and 7 Ridges area.
The publication of “Here’s What’s Happening” is a volunteer effort funded entirely by contributions from concerned citizens and groups. The newsletter has won the support of numerous local businesses, churches and organizations.
Nevertheless, additional funding is always needed to cover production costs, which exceed $500.00 quarterly, and include direct and indirect expenses such as paper, printing, postage and equipment maintenance.
One way to show your support for our efforts is to join the growing list of our sponsors. Donations of any size are gratefully welcomed.

Article Submission Guidelines
· Articles should be approximately 500 words or less (no more than a single typewritten page). Articles submitted may be abridged by the editors depending on the space available.
· Please use a common, standard font such as Times New Roman.
· Please include a title and the author’s name.

Go Green in Support of our Newsletter
The Publishing Team has instituted a special recycling program to generate funds for the newsletter. We are collecting empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges, which we can redeem for $3.00 each. Cartridge collection boxes are located at the post offices in Kendrick and Juliaetta, and at the Community Library.
The Publishing Team is a working committee of the Kendrick Juliaetta and the 7 Ridges.
