The Meal site has been providing meals since between 1975 and 1980, serving nutritious meals every Wednesday and Friday
for Kendrick, Juliaetta and the 7 Ridges senior citizens. Non-seniors are also welcome to join us for food and entertainment.
Home delivered meals as well as transportation are available.
Several times each month there is live entertainment, featuring the Old Time Fiddlers, Sweetwater Band.
Informative visits from Dr. Robert Mahal, Gritman Hospital, Juliaetta Library, Local talent Horst Reil, Dale Lisher, and Sharon Harris often provide music .
Blood Pressure will be taken on the first Wednesday each month by Medicare.
Meals are prepared according to the Area Council On Aging. Sugar free desserts are always available.
The Food Bank contributes many of the basics and the Council on Area Aging helps to pay for the meals.
Donations, Grants, and Contributions from many individuals and organizations make it possible for the meal site to operate efficiently.
The cook is the only paid employee, The Office work, dish washing, meal delivery, and clean up is all done by volunteers.

and Darlene Wilson.
